The house is big, have many rooms and each room has their own bathroom[except one room] Love the kitchen, all are fully furnished. Location also near to Bandaraya Melaka. All furniture came from Ikea. Suitable for big family. We will come again for sure

Hi! Thanks for the warm hospitality. Love the place. Very clean, just like how it is in photos. Just a suggestion, need to provide sejadah (praying mat), wifi and water heater. Overall is satisfying and will definitely visit again!

Thanks to Jim and Amsyar for being such great hosts during our stay in Malacca. The location of the stay is easy to locate and is not far off from Ayer Keroh toll. The Australian Home was absolutely gorgeous. Double the cleaning crew who ensured the area was clean before handover. Our Australian rooms were simply awesome! There were lots of space and OMG we went wild with the IKEA concept. Kids were fully occupied in the playhouse and of course the pool!! They’ve got it all. Lap pool, kids pool & jacuzzi. Guards were friendly. They even told us where we could head out for food. We felt safe staying in Duyong Dream with our vigilant guards guarding our home & cars on a 12hr shift duty. The stay would be complete if the wiring for the water heater is complete, WIFI is provided and probably more channels on Astro.

Clean and spacious. However the staff’s friends or some unknown bunch of guys constantly showed up at front of the house and parked their car there making noises. Not sure if it’s maintenance staff but they seemed occupied club house facilities.

The only regrets is that we only stay for one night here. Will come back for more and try other type of villas they have and I would recommend Duyong Dream in a heartbeat to our near and dear.

The rooms were very clean and well appointed for travel with large groups. Every room are fantastic! The kids also enjoying so much and had a wonderful time exploring every inch of the house. Looking forward for the next stay after this. Great value for our pocket too!

It was a great place for family or friends gathering. I went there with my family ( 9 adults & 1 kids ) , the space is good enough for us. There’s a play room for kids that my son like it very much and a club house nearby ( half min walk )with nice swimming pool, we enjoy our time at there too. The price is worth and it will be my choice if I visit Melaka again.

Great place and very clean. PROS : Clean and cozy, and thanks for allowed us to check in earlier. Club house do provide swimming pool, gym and sauna. Cons : No WiFi and water heater. Can’t find any Table clothes to clean the dining table. And there is barely plug point in the room

My family and i stayed at The Duyong Dream (Scandinavian unit) and found the place to be exactly as shown in pictures; stylish, clean and spacious. We also loved the concept of each unit representing a different country, very cool! Just a reminder though (especially for those with toddlers or older people),there aren’t any water heaters in the bathrooms. Apart from that, its a great place for large groups to stay.

Short review of the house, Pros: This is like the Ikea show house. Decorations are nice and tastefully done. They even have a small club house with sauna, swimming pool, mini gym room which just located few houses away. Big and new house for group gathering. Cons: There is NO water heater in all the bathrooms (which is different from the listing’s descriptions as advertised). Pitty for old folks and young kids to take cool shower at night. House host should provide at least one bathroom with hot shower which i think this is the basic ficilities that every host should provided before rent out the house. NO aircon in the living hall. NO hair dyer. Quite a distance from most of the tourist spots in Melaka but it is fine for those who looking for a quiet stay out from the busy town.

Overall the place is good and nice as shown in the picture. But a bit dusty when we check in but host many to get the cleaner to clean up for us. Location about 20 mins drive from town so still OK for us. The place is nicely done and decorated. Kids enjoyed it very much and very comfortable. But lacking is no water heater for all bathroom and no air cond in the living hall. Overall is good and will zone back again for next trip

Host replied promptly to every questions I have, the place is beautiful. Newly built area “The Duyong Dream” which consist of different theme on each house. Love ours so much. Australian Beach House. The smell of ikea lingers once you step into the house. Everything is from ikea, which I love! House is very clean and quiet, perfect for family with kids. We especially love the kids room… Will come back here and recommend this place to friends and relatives.

The house was well furnished & it was beautiful. If youre looking for an IKEA dream house, this is the place to go for family and friends. TV Entertainment provided as well for cosy nights. Must have a transport to go in or you could grab. Recommended to book this house.

My family stayed at Duyong Dream for just a night. All rooms are very spacious and furnish with new ikea furnitures. The interior of very room was very well planned as well. Every adult compliment the design and the ample space that they had for every room. My two year son had an enjoyable time as well. Most of his time was spent in the kids room. The kids room was filled with toys and soft toys. All furnitures placed in the kids room are very space. The kitchen was also completed with necessary utensils that made our one night stay an easy one. However, the wifi was not ready at the point of time we check in. Most probably because we are the first customer to stay in the house. The television can also be improved as it was limited with just netflix and youtube. There was no other local channels for us to watch. Overall, it was a good stay! Good job Jim! I am sure to be back here with my extended family.
